The Friends have provided funds for the following projects in the past five years

• An annual contribution to the Cathedral Flower Guild
• An annual payment to the Music Fund
• Repairs to the mosaic floor of the Choir

• Provision in the Cathedral of a toilet for the disabled
• A dehumidifier for the organ
• Photogrammetric Survey of the South Transept rose window

• Sponsorship of children’s workshops in the Cathedral
• Provision of costumes for visits by children’s groups to the Cathedral
• Banner for Christian Aid appeal on poverty and Third World debt
• Restoration of the West Front and towers
