WALKING THE OLD MINERAL TRAMWAY DEVORAN
Colin Reid, who last year walked us round Falmouth, has offered to walk the old tramway at Devoran. We start at Devoran Village Hall and walk towards Point (not all the way). Look at an old mine. Return. Maximum duration 2 hours. Devoran is one of the old ports for coal. This was them transported along the tramway to Camborne and Redruth. Sensible footwear. Numbers limited to 20 (max) Cost £3. Further details will be available in the new year. ************************************************** |
