PROJECTS The Friends of Truro Cathedral are committed to assisting and supporting the Chapter in the furtherance of the cathedral’s religious and charitable work, and in particular to maintaining, improving and adding to the fabric, fittings and furniture, services and music.
To these ends, the Friends make an annual contribution to the Music Fund and to the Flower Guild.
In addition, the Friends respond to requests from Chapter for contributions to major projects. They have in recent years been able to respond to requests for assistance towards emergency expenditure on the fabric of the building as the need has arisen. The Friends also try to seek out both medium and small scale projects that they can fund in their entirety and which can be identified with the Friends. ******************************************************** |
