AIMS (from the Constitution of the Friends of Truro Cathedral)

The aims of the Friends shall be to assist and support the Chapter in furthering the religious and charitable work of Truro Cathedral by –

1 - assisting and supporting the Chapter in arousing and maintaining public interest in the Cathedral;

2 - assisting and supporting the Chapter in maintaining, improving and adding to the fabric, fittings, ornaments, monuments, services and music of the Cathedral, and to

maintaining, adding to, and improving the precinct thereof (excluding houses of residence), and the publication of literature having reference to the Cathedral;

3 - such other means which, with the agreement of the Chapter, the Council from time to time thinks fit.
